When you are thinking to go for a vacation, proper planning is very important. It will not only make your trip hassle-free but will also save your time and money. And if you’re planning for a vacation in Goa then proper planning is a must. Goa may be very famous for its beaches but there is much more to explore like ancient temples and churches, historical monuments, waterfalls, islands and Goa’s rich culture which resides in its village. Day 1:

Best way to enjoy in Goa is by renting a bike. You can rent a bike in various places. Even your hotel will provide you with this facility. On day 1 you chill in the famous Miramar beach and Dona Paula beach which is little distance from each other. Try some water sports, enjoy Goan traditional food, visit age-old Aguada Fort and the two most famous churches – Basilica of Bom Jesus and Lady of Immaculate Conception. Then have lunch in the nearby hotels.
After having lunch go for site seeing on your rented bike to Old Goa.

Old Goa is famous for its churches such as Basilica of Bom Jesus, Catedral de Santa Catarina, Ruins of St. Augustine Church of St. Cajetan. You can also visit the Archaeological Museum and Portrait Gallery which is located at the back of the Convent and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. If you have time, then you can also include a trip to Divar island in your sightseeing itinerary. Then come back to Panjim.

Now you have two options; one is to spend your evening in the cruises like sunset cruise, dinner cruise or casino cruise. The second option is to explore other beaches like Calangute, Baga, and Anjuna and enjoy the famous night party in either of these beaches. Among these beaches, the night party at Baga beach is more famous.

Day 2:

Head to the famous Vagator beach and Chapora beach, try some water sports and visit the famous Chapora fort. Relax in the shacks. Then you can go for crocodile spotting on a boat in the Cumbarjua channel off the Zuari river which is about 20 minutes drive away from Panjim. Along with crocodile, you will also spot some beautiful birds in the thick mangroves.

One more option is to go on a trip to Grande Island. Grande island trip includes dolphin watching, water sports activities like fishing, swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving and traditional Goan lunch. The equipment required for these water sports will be provided on the boat and you will be guided by an instructor. The trip will end at 3.30pm.
